Installation
Your proposed installer must be qualified, Gas Safe registered, and hold the CCN1 and CEN1 qualifications. You can verify this at www.gassaferegister.co.uk.
Yes, any legally qualified installer can buy and install an ATAG boiler.
No. To maintain the highest safety standards in the UK, we only supply our boilers to legally qualified installers.
Due to their exceptional build quality, ATAG boilers cost more to produce, but this is offset by our direct-to-installer sales model.
Absolutely not. Legally qualified installers have excellent terms with us, enabling them to remain very competitive.
Warranty
ATAG boilers come with a 12-year manufacturer’s warranty as standard, with the option to extend it up to 18 years. The engine of the boiler, the heat exchanger, is guaranteed for life.
The ATAG warranty is very comprehensive and can be found here. It covers parts and labour to repair faults, provided the boiler has been installed and serviced in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
The warranty stays with the boiler, so the remaining warranty period can transfer to the new homeowner.
We normally provide same-day service if a call is received in the morning, or next-day service if received in the afternoon.
Yes. ATAG has a dedicated independent network of 160 boiler repair specialists, each carrying a full suite of spare parts, ready to repair faults 364 days a year.
ATAG Boilers
Exceptional build quality and efficiency. ATAG boilers are precision-engineered using superior materials such as brass and stainless steel, which is why we can offer such long warranties. Our unique iCon heat exchanger makes ATAG boilers among the most efficient in Europe.
The iCon heat exchanger is ATAG's patented technology. Not only is it guaranteed for life, it also ensures the boiler maintains maximum efficiency for many years.
ATAG boilers are among the most efficient in Europe and produce very low NOx emissions. Our boilers are manufactured using durable metallic components that are fully recyclable, including the boiler casing.
Yes. Replacing an older boiler with a modern high-efficiency ATAG boiler can help reduce energy consumption and potentially lower heating bills, particularly when combined with smart heating controls.
ATAG offers a range of high-efficiency combi, system, and regular boilers, with models designed for all types of properties. This allows homeowners to choose a system suitable for their heating and hot water needs.
Yes. ATAG boilers work with a range of smart heating controls, including the ATAG One Zone controller and selected third-party smart thermostats.
Boiler Servicing
Your ATAG boiler should be serviced annually to keep it operating safely and to maintain the validity of the warranty.
For consistency, the original installer is often a good choice. However, any legally qualified installer can service ATAG boilers.
Missing your annual service may invalidate your manufacturer's warranty, reduce efficiency, and increase the risk of faults over time.
No. You do not need to send us your service record, but you should keep a copy near your boiler or with your documentation in case it is required for warranty purposes.
Aftercare
If your boiler develops a fault, contact ATAG customer service or your installer. Our team can help diagnose the issue and arrange an engineer if required.
ATAG parts are readily available and can usually be delivered the next working day if ordered before 4pm by a legally qualified installer.
The serial number is typically located on the pull-down flap on the front of the boiler.
Your boiler may display a fault code if it detects an issue. These codes help engineers diagnose problems quickly. Please refer to your boiler manual or contact ATAG for assistance.
If you notice a leak, turn the boiler off at the power supply and contact a Gas Safe registered engineer or ATAG to inspect the issue.
If you smell gas:
  • Turn off the gas supply if possible
  • Open doors and windows
  • Do not use electrical switches
  • Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately
